It is being said, one who is physically, mentally and financially stable can embark upon the most splendid journey of a lifetime i.e. performing Hajj on specific days to get complete purity of mind, body and soul.

Things Required to Perform the Ritual Successfully

Before actually proceeding to the holy city of Makkah in order to perform Hajj, necessary is to learn few necessary and mandatory things to be performed during the whole process:

In this regard, there are few do’s and don’ts mentioned here for true pilgrims:

 Do’s

•    Cut hairs, nails and wear two-piece white clothing called Ihram
•    Reach Masjid Al Haram and perform Tawaf i.e. taking a series of laps around a black stone while reciting prayers
•    After that perform Sa’I which means running in between two hills of Safa and Marwah
•    At the very last, shave head especially by makes or partially cut hairs both by men and women to clarify one’s body mind and soul
•    Try to make an online hotel booking in Makkah in order to confirm stay without even leaving comfort of home

Don’t’s

•    Do not get involved in any act of verbal abuse, sexual intercourse, perfuming and hunting
•    Females are advised not to wear normal clothes until Hajj ritual is completed
•    Especially female pilgrims to accompany Mehram with them to perform the holy act of Hajj

 The Significance of the Ritual

Since everything has a purpose and so do is for going Hajj that allows you seek blessings from Allah and plead mercy for past sins that will be purified, once you perform the act with complete kindness. It also symbolises your bounty towards Almighty Allah and accepts whatever He has said in Quran and in other verses.
